About Rubies and Gold School

Our Genesis

Established in the bustling heart of Lagos in September 2010, Rubies and Gold School was the brainchild of Mrs. Risikat Abiola Bello. What began as a humble classroom with just 20 eager learners has now blossomed into a thriving educational haven, nurturing over 200 students from early years to year 12.

Our Philosophy

At Rubies and Gold, we believe education is the cornerstone of personal and societal growth. But our vision extends beyond traditional academic boundaries. We aspire to create well-rounded individuals who can be solutions – for themselves, their families, and their communities. Our approach marries the academic rigor of both the British and Nigerian curricula with the foundational values of integrity, godliness, diligence, and leadership.

We are proud pioneers of the “rollercoaster” learning method, a dynamic approach that keeps knowledge flowing and engages students throughout their educational journey. With a keen eye on the future, we have integrated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) into our curriculum, ensuring our students are not just consumers but creators of the future.

While academic excellence remains our cornerstone, we understand the importance of shaping individuals ready for the world's challenges. From honing entrepreneurial skills to fostering a sense of poise and etiquette, our students graduate ready for both the corporate world and societal leadership. Our commitment to godliness ensures they walk their paths with moral clarity and purpose.

Rubies and Gold is more than a school; it’s a family. Located in the rocky terrains of Lagos, we have stood as a beacon of hope and radiance for over a decade.
